JIALING and Kade Young announce new label, WOE, to champion Baltimore Club

Baltimore artists JIALING and Kade Young have launched a new record label.

Announced today, November 29th, WOE will be focused on showcasing club music made by producers in Baltimore and around the greater DC, Maryland, Virginia area (DMV). Also out today is the imprint’s first release, WOE001, a three-track EP produced by the two labelheads. The project features another local artist, SDOT MUSIC.

“Our goal for this label is to shine a light on our community, our friends, and the extensive talent found in Baltimore and around the DMV scene,” JIALING wrote on the EP’s Bandcamp description. “We believe this platform will act as a gateway into the often overlooked, but immensely passionate club world we know and love, beginning a new chapter in the rich history of Baltimore music.”
