New independent booking business for electronic music, Good Direction Agency, launches
The roster includes UNIIQU3, Nikki Nair, Todd Edwards, and more.
Good Direction Agency (AKA GDA), a new boutique independent booking agency, is officially in business.
Announced via social media on Tuesday, December 3rd, the company handles the live touring schedule of over 30 artists, primarily focusing on North American bookings. The founding roster includes the likes of UNIIQU3, Craze, 1tbsp, and Taiki Nulight, and more. Past HEADS KNOW headliners Machinedrum, Todd Edwards, Nikki Nair, and Swami Sound are also represented by the agency. While GDA is currently focused on DJs and electronic music acts, the team explained they are “definitely open to expanding” next year, in a statement given to HEADS KNOW.
GDA is currently made up of its two cofounders, veteran booking agent Brent Tactic (real name Brent Lippincott) and experienced industry professional Caroline Tartini, as well as two part-time staffers, Jon Hamlin and Shaomei Hu.
“I think what makes GDA different is that we’re actually fans of music,” Lippincott told HEADS KNOW. “Fans of the process of developing and nurturing talent to put them in a position to succeed in line with their goals. Fans of the opportunity to participate in pushing culture forward.”
