bossy boots, a New York City DJ who founded femme-forward platform SHEY.THEY.DJ and co-curates local party Booty Bass Lift, is raising funds for her future.
Launched earlier this month, the GoFundMe description explains her immigration process has been stalled for the past decade and she could risk losing work authorization in the US without legal status. The $12,000 goal covers the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) filing fees as well as the legal services that are needed to restart the case. $9,832 of the target amount has been reached at the time of writing.
